There are two Ciphers you can find in Tyr’s Temple, and both are pretty easy to find. Dock and jump over the piece of rubble, and you will find the chest with Nilfheim Language Cipher here. Row over to the area called the Ruins of the Ancient in the northern part of the Lake of the Nine Realms. Ruins of the Ancient Nilfheim Language Cipher Chest Get up on the landing and get behind the rocks, shoot the Red Sap behind the rocks, and you will be able to access the Nilfheim Language Cipher Chest. At the top, there will be a path blocked by rocks and a small landing you can climb on. Once you get them, row over to the northern part of the map and go to the docking location to the right of the Mason’s Channel next, a climbable wall will be blocked by Red Sap use the Shock Arrow to destroy it and climb the wall. You are going to need the Shock Arrows that Atreus gets during the main story in Alfheim. Mason Channel Nilfheim Language Cipher Chest This will lower the spikes, and you will be able to open the chest. If there are spikes blocking it, throw your axe at the device to the left of where you docked your boat. Once you have docked here (or fast travel if you have already visited this location), go to the right and look around a rock to find the chest. The Lookout Tower is a location that you will need to row to in a boat found to the right of the bridge of Tyr’s Temple and to the left of the Muspelheim Realm Tower. If you reach one of these chests and it doesn’t provide the Cipher, do not worry and simply visit another one. It is important to note that you may not always get a Cipher from the chest, possibly because the game is making sure you don’t unlock the Nilfheim too early. These Cipher fragments are found in large chests similar to the ones that players will be ripping open over the course of the game, though these specific chest have a purple highlight to them like the chests that you open when getting the Muspelheim Ciphers.
